Welcome to Orlovsky Apiaries!

Orlovsky Apiaries is a beekeeping business which specializes in raw honey, swarm removal, and pure beeswax candles.  Please contact us for more information or to place an order for pick up at sales@oahoney.com

Unfortunately, we will have a limited supply of honey this year (Sept. 2013 - Sept. 2014) due to poor bee/honey production.  We will post on our website when our honey supplies are gone for this year.

Honey
Honey: Contains many vitamins & minerals, is considered a natural anti-bacterial, never spoils (it may crystalize, but just set it in a pan of warm water and it will resume its liquid form).

Raw Honey Bear bottle (12 oz.) -            $3.50

1 lb bottle Raw Honey (16 oz.) -             $4.00

2 lb bottle Raw Honey ( 32 oz.) -            $8.00

1 qt. glass jar Raw Honey (48 oz.) -        $10.00

1 gallon container Raw Honey (128 oz.) - $27.00

Yearly Limited-Quantity Honey Items:

Buckwheat Raw Honey 1 lb. bottles (16 oz.)  - $5.00

Super Raw Honey 1 qt. glass jars (48 oz.) -     $12.00

Super Raw Honey is completely non-sieved honey.  It is poured directly from the extractor into the jars.  This means that it will retain pieces of wax, chunks of propolis, and even the occasional bee body parts, which then float to the top of the jar.  As we get into the cooler months, this honey will crystallize in the jars.

Beeswax Candles
Beeswax is an environment-friendly alternative that is beautiful, as well as: non-toxic, long burning, sweet smelling, smokeless, and non-sooting. Please note that candles will have natural color variations.  All candles are available, but one to two weeks advance notice is needed for large orders.

History
Orlovsky Apiaries began in 2001 when a retired beekeeper at my husband’s Boy Scout camp decided to retire out of the beekeeping hobby. He passed on three hives, one of which continues to be an observation hive at camp events.  We began selling our honey and bee products at the Beloit Farmers Market and local events.  Our services have also come to include bee pollinating and bee removal.  It is our hope to continue expanding our hive numbers and natural bee products to better serve our community. Thanks for supporting a locally owned business! Enjoy your Bee Products!
